Jennifer Karin Sidford is the author of Letters to a Girl, a Perennial Celebration of Growing Up Female. She lives with her husband, Chris, and their three boys in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Halloween is always a big event at their home, a 205 year-old sea captain’s house complete with resident ghosts.

Sam Kimball's path has always been full of surprises including landing him in the most fortunate role of illustrating this book! He has created everything from paintings, to printed fabric, to a line of witty greeting cards. He currently sells his paintings through Chameleon in Newburyport, Massachusetts.
