About Jennifer Karin

Jennifer Karin is an activist, author, columnist, wife and mother of three—though not in that order. Her books include Letters to a Girl and The Bear Who Loves Halloween. She is a columnist for The Undertoad, a political newspaper in Massachusetts. Her column, O’ Happy Dagger, allows Jennifer to explore issues that cut deep in today’s society.

Jennifer has recently launched a new column in the tradition of Erma Bombeck and Dear Abby. Called Zen Mother, it is an irreverent look at modern life.

In addition to The Undertoad, Jennifer’s writing has appeared in the Sunday Boston Globe and The Newburyport Daily News. She is a publishing member of The Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators and The National Society of Newspaper Columnists.
